Margaret Louise Dempsey

Margaret Louise Dempsey, 76, of Craigsville, WV passed away at her home on Sunday, July 5, 2020. Born July 11, 1943 at Cooperstown, PA, she was a daughter of the late William John and Bessie Elizabeth Dickson Shrum. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Nancy Christopher and Sarah Smith, by two brothers, Tom and Jim Shrum. She attended the Little Glade Baptist Church at Camden-on-Gauley and her hobbies include bingo, puzzles and playing cards with family and friends. Survivors include her husband of twenty-three years, Lonnie Dempsey; a son, Jesse Dailey and his wife, Rebecca of Brookville, PA; three daughters, Shari Hudak and her husband, Paul of Sarver, PA, Traci Philips and her husband, Scott and Jenny Hart and her husband, Mike, all of Knoxville, TN; brother, Bill Shrum of Slate Lick, PA; sisters, Helen Shrum of Newport News, VA, and Cathy Ehrman of Brackenridge, PA; twelve grandchildren and ten great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends. It was her wish to be cremated and no services will be held at this time. White Funeral Home at Summersville is in charge of the arrangements.
