Mavis Emogene Bailes

Mavis Emogene Bailes, 86 of Nettie, WV went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at the WVU-Summersville Regional Medical Center.  Born December 9, 1936 at Dundon, WV she was a daughter of the late Leslie and Roxie Nichols McKinney.  She was also preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Charles William Bailes on July 29, 2018 and her son, Gary Bailes.

      She attended Ward Road Freewill Baptist Church at Nettie, was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

      Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Larry (Sabrina) Bailes of Princeton, Carol Bailes and David (Carla) Bailes both of Nettie; one sister, Ann Dankson of Summersville; eight grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.

      Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at the White Funeral Home at Summersville with Pastor Garry Coffman officiating.  Interment will follow at the Zoar Church Cemetery at Keslers Cross Lanes.  Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the services.
