Michael Allen McCoy

     Michael Allen McCoy, 57, of Summersville, WV passed away on Friday, March 20, 2026 in the WVU-Medicine Summersville Regional Medical Center.  Born July 12, 1968 at Richwood, he was a son of Wilma Wilson and the late David Allen McCoy.

    He was a Baptist by faith, a former truck driver, a member of the Teamsters Union, and a member of Helping Hands on Wheels.  He was a former firefighter who liked to fish, watch sports, and ride his Harley.

     Surviving are his mother and stepfather, Wilma and Sam Wilson; stepmother, Shirley McCoy;  sister, Tammy (Jay) Hamilton; stepbrother, Tim Wilson;  fiancée, Christy White; children, Michael (Emily) McCoy, II, Kayla (Aaron) Tate, Brittany Summers, and Michael Paul (Lori) McCoy; several grandchildren.

     Memorial services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 26, 2026 in the Reynolds Street Freewill Baptist Church at Summersville with Pastor Arnold Nicholas officiating. 

     The family will receive friends on Thursday at the church from 5 until 7 p.m.
