Norma Ann Jordan

     Norma Ann Jordan, 69, of Richwood, WV passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 in Ruby Memorial Hospital at Morgantown, WV, surrounded by her loving family.  Born Friday, June 5, 1953 at Richwood, she was a daughter of the late Orbie and Wanda Marshall Nicholas.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Jordan and oldest brother, Robert Nicholas.    

     Survivors include her only child, Stephanie Jo Carden and companion Jerry Hammons, two brothers, Johnny B. “Butch” Nicholas and Stephen D. “Steve” Nicholas, all of Richwood, and one sister, Gloria S. “Cookie” Nicholas-Brown of Elkins, one Uncle Clellan Nicholas and wife Shirley of Diamond, OH and many cousins.    

     She was a graduate of Richwood High School, with the class of 1972. Norma’s hobbies included crocheting and spending time with her family.  She loved animals especially her cat, Sammy Jo and Grand Fur Baby, Gypsy Rose.    

     Friends may call at the White Funeral Home at Summersville on Saturday from 11 AM until 1 PM.  Funeral services will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at the White Funeral Home at Summersville with Pastor Keith Williams officiating.  Interment will follow in the Fields Cemetery at Nettie.
