Otis Glen Dodrill

     Otis Glen Dodrill, 70, of Craigsville, WV passed away at his residence after a long illness on Tuesday, January 16, 2024.

     He was born August 3, 1953 to the late Edgar T. Dodrill and Bertha Tincher Dodrill.  He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Charles, John, and Jack and by his sisters, Norma Jean, Caroline, Marie, Alaska (Cookie), and Virginia Kay.    He worked for B. F. Goodrich and retired from SMR Technologies of Fenwick.  He loved to have a garden every year, even though he said he wasn’t going too.  He enjoyed camping and cooking over an open fire and he was a very good cook.  He loved to fish and hunt and work on vehicles, he was a Jeep man.

     Left to Cherish his memory are his wife, Arlene Dodrill of Craigsville; sons, Christopher Eugene Dodrill of Craigsville, Jamie Glen Dodrill of Morgantown; brothers, Jimmy and Floyd; sisters, Mary, Cora, Bonnie, and Diane; ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

     At his request he will be cremated and his ashes will be interred in the Russell Cemetery at Craigsville.

     White Funeral Home at Summersville is in charge of the arrangements.
