Paul J. Neff

      Paul J. Neff, 80, of Pool, WV, passed away peacefully at home on May 19, 2026. He was the son of the late Mary (McClung) Neff and Paul J. Neff. Paul was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and uncle.

      He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Effie (Walton) Neff; his daughter, Tina M. Neff-Legg (L.T.) of Trinity, FL; and his precious grandson, Larry “Lars” Legg, III. He is also survived by his sister, Charlotte Holcomb of Blythe, GA; two brothers, James Neff of Pool, WV, and Lonnie Neff of Stephens City, VA; as well as a host of extended family and friends.

      Paul was a member of the United Church of God and spent many years working as a pressman and supervisor for Bright of America.

      It was Paul’s wish to be cremated, with his remains placed on his beloved farm. A memorial visitation will be held at his home on Monday, May 25, 2026 at 1:00 p.m., where many stories and cherished memories will be shared in his honor.
