Ralph Edward Hamrick, Jr.

     Ralph Edward Hamrick, Jr., 62, of Summersville, WV passed away on Saturday, August 16, 2025 in the WVU-Medicine Summersville Regional Medical Center.  Born October 4, 1962 at Summersville, he was a son of the late Ralph Edward and Agatha Mae Bell Hamrick.  He was also preceded in death by his sister, Frankie Leigh Hamrick.

     He was a retired surface miner with Fola Coal, loved to fish, and he loved spending time with his grandchildren.

     Survivors include his children, Eddie (Ashley) Hamrick; James Hamrick, Emily (Colton Dennison) Hamrick, and Melanie Hamrick; four siblings, Robin Bell, Kathy Coper, Libby Hartley, and Kurt Hamrick; eight grandchildren, Ralph IV, Lillian, Langstan, Rodney, Nikolai, Jessie, Leeland, and Tyee.

     It was his wish to be cremated and a celebration of his life will be held later.

     White-Anderson Funeral Home and Cremation Center at Summersville is in charge of the arrangements.
