Rev. Harold L. Duskey, of Canvas, West Virginia, passed away on July 29, 2026 at WVU Medicine Summersville. Born March 15, 1934, in Calhoun County, he was the son of the late Ray and Madge Duskey He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of many years, Pauline Ruth Duskey; his son-in-law, Damon Hanshaw; and his siblings, Jo Ellen, Jim, Bill, and Ron.
Harold was a retired United Methodist minister who faithfully dedicated his life to his faith and his family. He served throughout West Virginia for 60 years before retiring in 2016.
He is survived by his daughter, Sandy Hanshaw; his grandson, Zachary (Katelyn) Hanshaw, of Raleigh, North Carolina; his granddaughter, Whitney (Eric) Underwood; his cherished great-grandchildren, Easton, Carter, and Weston; his sister, Angelina Brock, of West Salem, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 3, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Jordan Chapel United Methodist Church in Canvas, West Virginia, with Rev. Dave Lancaster and Rev. Rick Swearengin officiating. Interment will follow in Walker Memorial Park, Summersville.
Friends may visit with the family on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the White-Anderson Funeral Home and Cremation Center at Summersville.
