Richard Woodrum, 72, of Mt. Nebo, WV passed at home with his family by his side on Wednesday, April 14, 2021. Born February 18, 1949, he was a son of the late Addilue Harding Wagner. He was also preceded in death by his step-father, Cecil Wagner, one brother, Jimmy Woodrum, and one sister, LouAnna Vest. He was a retired coal miner with Bethlehem Coal Company, a member of the UMWA, a US Army Veteran during the Vietnam War, and he loved to hunt, fish and spend time with family and friends. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Brenda Woods Woodrum; two sons, Nathan Woodrum and Wesley (Lakin) Woodrum; two daughters, Christine Woodrum and companion, Rick, Brenda (Leon) Kiszka; one brother, Michael Woodrum and companion, Michelle; two half brothers, Robert Woodrum and Jimmy Woodrum; several grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Sunday, April 18, 2021 at the White Funeral Home in Summersville with Pastor Arnold Nicholas officiating. Interment will follow in the Stewart Cemetery at Cove Hollow in Clay County. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the services.
