Robert Rob Meadows

Robert “Rob” Meadows, 84, of Nettie, WV passed away on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loved ones.  Born May 21, 1937 in Cabins, WV he was a son of the late Arthur and Leona Dolly Meadows.  He was also preceded in death by his son, Timothy R. Meadows; brothers, Amos, Arthur and George; brother-in-law, Don Evans.

      He was a member of Olive Branch Baptist Church and a retired UMWA miner.  He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.  He enjoyed hunting and the outdoors.

      Rob is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Sandra; daughters, Kimberly (Bill) Miller and Michele (Scott) Robinson; brothers, James (Marsha) Meadows, Don (Paulette) Meadows; sister, Betty Joe Evans; grandchildren, Amber Miller, Andrea Rentz, Chase Miller, Brooke Burkholder and Whitney Robinson; great grandchildren, Alex Vaughan, Cade Alderman, Olivia Miller; special family friend, Codey Horton; and several step great grandchildren.

      Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at the White Funeral Home in Summersville with Pastor Larry Gawthrop officiating.  Interment will follow at the Fairview Cemetery in Nettie.  Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the services.
