Roger Lee Boggs, Sr.

     Roger Lee Boggs, Sr., 77, of Summersville, WV passed away on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 surrounded by his family in the WVU-Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.  Born July 12, 1944 in Richwood, WV he was a son of the late Harry and Mary King Boggs.  He was also preceded in death by two sons, Roger Lee Boggs, Jr and Michael Duane Boggs; siblings, Dana Spencer, Virginia Roberts, Darlene Boggs, Donald Boggs, and Dickie Boggs.

      He attended the New Beginnings Worship Center at Summersville and was a retired bricklayer.

      Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Kimberly Hall Boggs; two children, Cody (Caitlin) Boggs of Summersville and Jeremy Boggs of VA; one brother, Clayton (Helen) Boggs of MI; one sister, Sharon (George) Conrad of Craigsville; three grandchildren and one great grandchild.

      Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 in the White Funeral Home at Summersville with Pastor Mike Simms officiating.  Interment will follow in the WV Memorial Gardens at Calvin.

      Friends may call at the White Funeral Home on Monday from 6-8 PM.
