Ronnie Denver Hartley

     Ronnie Denver Hartley, 88, of Canvas, WV passed away on Sunday, May 7,  2023 in the Genesis Hilltop Center at Oak Hill.  Born February 19, 1935 at Canvas, he was a son of the late William Cleve and Cornelia Myrtle Nutter Hartley.  He was also preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Jean McKinney Hartley and by his son, Brian Christopher Hartley.

     He was a retired automobile factory worker for GM, was a former coal miner, farmer, and building construction worker.

     Survivors include his granddaughter, Steffani Sartin of Erbacon, step grandson, Trevor Bateman; two great grandchildren, Vivian Elizabeth Sartin and Emma Louise Sartin; nieces and nephews.

     In keeping with his wish he will be cremated and no services will be held at this time.

     White Funeral Home at Summersville is in charge of the arrangements.
