Russell Brown Obituary

Russell Teddy Brown, 71, of Poe, Nicholas County, WV passed away on Friday, January 7, 2022 in the WVU-Medicine Summersville Regional Medical Center. Born October 28, 1950 at Poe, WV, he was a son of the late Russell and Thelma Hypes Brown. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Kay Graham.

He was a member of the Royal Chapel Tipton Church of Tipton, was retired from Army Corp of Engineers at Summersville Lake and was a US Army Veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth A. Brown; one daughter, Maria (Bobby) Turner of Mt. Nebo; two sons, Ronnie Brown of Summersville and Shawn Brown of MI; two brothers, Kim (Carol) Brown of Summersville and Dwight Brown of Mexico; five grandchildren, Charlie, Samantha, Dean, Alyssa, and McKenzie and three great grandchildren.

Private graveside services were held at the Brown Family Cemetery in Poe under the direction of the White Funeral Home at Summersville.
