Sharon Anita Shafer

     Sharon Anita Shafer, 71, of Canvas, WV passed away at her home on Sunday, August 11, 2024.  Born December 11, l953 at Montgomery, WV, she was a daughter of Grover Lucas and the late Leota Williams Lucas.  She was also preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Lucas and a nephew, Trevor Stewart.

      She was a Christian, was a CNA, and a home healthcare worker.

      Those left to cherish her memory include her two children, Chad (Jessica) Shafer and Carrie (Terry) Shafer; her father, Grover Lucas; siblings, Lois McHenry, Debbie Johnson, Patty Lucas, and Grovella VanDevender; five grandchildren, Morgan, Macey, Levi, Logan, and Lauren.

      Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, August 14, 2024 in the White-Anderson Funeral Home and Cremation Center with Pastor Arnold Nicholas officiating.  Interment will follow in the McClung Cemetery on Phillips Run Road.

     Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday one hour prior to the funeral services.
