Shelby Jean Key

       Shelby Jean Key,  80, of Mt Nebo, W V passed away at the Peyton Hospice House on Friday June 5, 2026 after a long illness. Born October 10, 1945 at Pool WV, She was the daughter of the late Louisa Bennett Walton. She was preceded in death by her husband Lacy Coleman Key.

      Survivors include her siblings, Effie Neff, David Walton (Ramona), James Walton (Carol), Helen Garret (Ernie), Richard Walton (Cathy), and many family members who loved her.

      She was a hard worker and managed a laundry in North Carolina for many years before returning home to WV.

      It was her wish to be cremated and no service will be held at this time.

      White-Anderson Funeral Home and Cremation Center at Summersville is in charge of the arrangements.
