Shirley Eugene Young

Shirley “Sharkey” Eugene Young, 77, of Runa, WV passed away at his home on Monday, September 5, 2022.  Born October 19, 1944 at Runa, WV he was a son of the late Clev and Ida Walton Young.  He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Bobby Jack, Billy, Wanda, Dee, and Connie. 

      He was a Christian who loved to hunt turkey, deer and squirrel. 

      He is survived by his children, Sharkey,, Kimmy, Donna, Nikki, Jeff, Angela, and Brayden; brothers and sisters, Pat, Paul, Viola, and Suzie; several grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

      Private graveside services were held and interment followed in the Young family cemetery in Runa, WV.
