Stephanie Ann (Beal) Cowell

     Stephanie Ann Cowell, 66, of Summersville, WV went home to be with the Lord on Monday, September 18, 2023 in the WVU-Ruby Memorial Hospital at Morgantown.  Born February 11, 1957 at Shinnston, WV; she was a daughter of the late Paul and Geraldine Hess Beal. 

     She was a member of the Memorial United Methodist church in Summersville, was active in the church choir where she also played the flute, , and was a piano teacher at her home for many years.

     Survivors include her husband, Vernon Cowell; four children, Nicole Cowell, Samuel Cowell, Stacie McCarty, and Lynette Case; one brother, Stephen Beal; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

     Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 23, 2023 in the Memorial United Methodist Church at Summersville with Pastor Dan Lowther officiating.  Interment will follow in the Walker Memorial Park at Summersville.

     Friends may call at the church on Saturday one-hour prior to the funeral services.
