Terry Lynn Bennett

     Terry Lynn Bennett, 63 of Birch River, passed away on December 29, 2025. He was the son of the late Cecil & Viola Bennett. Born in Summersville on May 10, 1962.  Terry was preceded in death by four siblings

     He is survived by his sons: TG Bennett of Birch River,  and Dustin and Amanda Bennett of Mount Lookout, his grandson Silas Blankenship, his brother Jimmy Bennett and sister Linda Burr.

     He was a devoted family man who loved deeply and valued the people closest to him. Above all else, Terry cherished his family—but if we’re being honest (and he would’ve appreciated the honesty), his absolute favorite companion was his little dog, Pugsley. Pugsley wasn’t just a pet; he was Terry’s shadow, sidekick, and boss. Wherever Terry was, Pugsley was close behind—usually supervising, always loved, and completely convinced the world revolved around him.

     A memorial service will be held at a later date, with details to be announced.

     White-Anderson Funeral Home and Cremation Center at Summersville is in charge of the arrangements.
