Thomas Dickerson Dorsey

     Thomas Dickerson “Dick” Dorsey, 80, of Waynesboro, VA, formerly of Nicholas County, WV passed away at his home on Monday, August 2, 2021.  Born February 16, 1941 at Gilboa, WV, he was a son of the late Thomas D. and Queenie A. Cavendish Dorsey.  He was also preceded in death by his wife, Della Mae Dorsey; by his siblings, Jo Ann Hickman, Jean Johnson, James Dorsey, and Brenda Dorsey.       He was a member of the Main Street United Methodist Church at Waynesboro, was a retired carpenter, and he loved woodworking and building bird houses.      Survivors include his brother, John Dorsey; four sisters, Pauline Summers, Claudine Conn, Shirlene Bombardt, and  Louise Munday; several nieces and nephews.       Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 6, 2021 in the White Funeral Home at Summersville with Pastor Carolyn Mash officiating.   Interment will follow in the Walker Memorial Park at Summersville.       Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday one-hour prior to the funeral services.        Condolences may be sent to the family at www.whitefuneralhomewv.com
