Tony Dale Forsberg, born September 19, 1958 in Minneapolis, MN, passed away on March 21, 2026. Leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and memories that will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
Tony was preceded in death by his beloved brother, Gerald Forsberg, as well as his parents, Ida Marian Forsberg and Dennis Clayton Forsberg.
He is survived by his loving brothers: Daniel Forsberg and his wife Debra; Guy Forsberg and his wife Hermelinda; Joel Forsberg and his wife Karla; and Michael Forsberg and his wife Maria. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, who were truly the loves of his life.
Tony will be remembered for his warm spirit, his kind heart, and the joy he brought to those around him. He loved woodworking, creating with his hands and a true craftsman. He also had a passion for adventure, traveling as far as Africa to experience the beauty and wonder of the world around him.
He had a love for life that showed in his constant smile and easy laughter. Tony was known as the “cool one,” always showing up with perfect hair and a great pair of shades, bringing a lighthearted energy wherever he went.
Above all, Tony had a deep love for God, which guided his life and gave him strength, faith, and peace. His faith was a quiet but powerful part of who he was and will remain a lasting part of the legacy he leaves behind.
He was a beloved uncle, and his role in the family meant more than words can fully express. The memories shared with him—stories, laughter, and the time spent together—will be cherished forever.
Tony’s life reminds us to embrace both the simple joys and the great adventures, to create, to explore, to smile big and to love deeply. Though he is no longer with us, his memory will continue to live on through all who knew and loved him.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life Psalms 23:6
