Virginia Ruth Pomeroy

Virginia Ruth Pomeroy, 72, of Nettie, WV passed away on Monday, February 7, 2022 at her home.  Born April 5, 1949 at Widen, WV she was a daughter of the late Orval and Beatrice Workman Vickers.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Stanley J. Pomeroy; and an infant, Weena Pomeroy.

      She was a Baptist by Faith and was a former employee of Food Lion Stores.

      Survivors include children, Marshal (Mary) Pomeroy; Sheena Vaughn; siblings, Anna Samples, Delbert Vickers, Shirley Meadows, and Barbara Boyce; seven grandchildren.

      It was her wish to be cremated and memorial services will be held at a later date.
