Warren Keith Legg

     Warren Keith Legg, 78, of Mt. Lookout, WV passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2024 after a battle with cancer in the WVU-Medicine Summersville Regional Medical Center.  Born April 24, 1946 at Mt. Looklout, he was a son of the late James Burton and Hilda Evelyn Shaffer Legg.

     Keith loved God, family, church, and community.  He had a generous heart and would help anyone out that needed him.   He was a graduate of Nicholas County High School, served in the Army National Guard and worked as a barber for many years in Summersville and Mt. Lookout.  He was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church at Mt. Lookout.

     Survivors include his life partner, Samuel Boley; two brothers, James Kenneth (Donna) Legg and  Harold Wayne “Bill”  (Diane) Legg; two sisters, Marian Faye  Smathers and Susan Diane Legg; several nieces and nephews.

     Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 8, 2024 in the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church at Mt. Lookout with Pastor Joe Shaffer  officiating.  Interment will follow in the Legg Family Cemetery at Mt. Lookout under the direction of the White-Anderson Funeral Home and Cremation Service at Summersville.

     Friends may call at the church on Thursday one-hour prior to the funeral services.
