William Thomas Jenkins, 73 of Drennen, passed on to Heaven, Saturday October, 9, 2021 at the CAMC-General Hospital in Charleston. He was born on January 29, 1948 in Burke County, GA to the late Leo Frank Jenkins and Annie Watkins Jenkins. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, James, Wycliffe and George Jenkins and one sister, Peggy Berfield.
William was a proud US Army Vietnam Veteran where he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and the Bronze Star. He was also a recipient of the Purple Heart. He was a member of the Free Masons and retired from BE Aerospace in Fenwick.
William was an avid jokester and loved to laugh with his family and friends. He enjoyed nature, boating, riding his Harley and in his Mustang.
William leaves behind his wife of 42 years, Pamela Willis Jenkins; two daughters, Regina Bello and husband Mickey of Logan, WV and Jennifer Jenkins of Drennen; two grandchildren that he loved dearly, Sofia and William Bello; one brother, Robert Jenkins and his wife Peggy; three sisters, Patricia Stuckey, Mary Roop and Vivian Sickels and her husband, Scott; and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at the White Funeral Home in Summersville with Pastor Paul Gray officiating. Interment will follow in the Neil Cemetery at Drennen. Friends may call at the funeral home on the day of the service one hour prior.
