Williams, Leonard Elwood Sr. Leonard Elwood Williams, Sr. LEONARD E. WILLIAMS, SR. Leonard Elwood Williams, Sr. 78, of Craigsville, WV passed away at his home on Thursday, April 2, 2020 after an extended illness. Born August 14, 1941 at Summerlee, he was a son of Olligia Marie Hood Williams and the late Virgil Williams. He was also preceded in death by a son, Jim; a brother, Jerry; and a sister, Barbara. Leonard was a graduate and varsity football player at Richwood High School. He was a retired carpenter, cabinet maker and builder. Survivors include his mother, Olligia Marie Hood Williams; his children, Leonard (Teresa) Williams Jr. of Wauseon, Ohio, Kimberly Williams (Steve) Soukup of Chardon, Ohio, and Kelli Williams (Rusty Rose) of Franklin, Indiana; Step-granddaughter, Sarah Soukup of Alabama; his companion of twelve years and caregiver, Vanda Denault; two sisters, Beverly Thomas of Charles Town, WV and Becky (Palmer) Pyle of Martinsburg, WV. In keeping with his wish he will be cremated and private services will be held at a later time. The family would like to thank Kanawha Hospice for all of their help during this difficult time.
