Wilma Ruth Brown

Wilma Ruth Brown, 82, of Tioga, WV passed away at her home on Monday, June 16, 2025.  Born July 23, 1942 at Tioga, Nicholas County, WV, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Beulah Johnston Jarvis.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Leodice Brown and by a granddaughter, Sarah Young.

     She was a Christian and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

     Those left to cherish her memory are three brothers, Bobby Jarvis, Delbert Jarvis, and Kenneth Johnston; one sister, Margie Williams; children, Bonnie (Mark) Young, Terry Brown, Gary Brown, Mark (Shawna) Brown, Marsha (Billy) Taylor, and Jeanie (Mark) Bragg; stepson, Dana Brown; stepdaughter, Diana Meadows; grandchildren, Joshua (Heather) Young, Caleb Young, Bethany (Andrew) Wolverton, David Perry, Dustin Bragg, Logan Bragg, Dylan Bragg, Jason (Brooklynn) Brown, Chase Brown, and Caley Brown;  step grandchildren, Jeremy Mullens, Shannon (Tammy) Brown, Eddie Brown, Brittanie (Shawn) Smalley, Ryan Meadows, Josh Meadows; six great grandchildren and many step great grandchildren.

     Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 20, 2025 in the Russell Cemetery at Craigsville with Pastor Michael Malcomb officiating.  Interment will follow under the direction of the White-Anderson Funeral Home and Cremation Center at Summersville.
