Wilma Lee Grose

      Wilma Lee Grose, 90, of Keslers Cross Lanes, WV passed away on Monday, December 22, 2025 at the WVU-Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.  Born October 12, 1935 in Poe, WV she was a daughter of the late Clem and Susan McClung Hypes.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Grose in 1997; one brother, Charles Clement Hypes; four sisters, Nannie Hall, Eva Preast, Glenna Gray, Edith Hanshaw; grandson, Clarence Edwin Grose; step-daughter, Pamela Griffin and step-grandson, Robbie Sharp.

      She was a member of Bethel Church in Poe.  She was a retired special education aid for Nicholas County Schools.  She was a avid reader and loved to garden, and loved all things Elvis Presley.

      Those left to cherish her memory include three children, Dennis Grose, Paula (Steve) Herndon, Amy (Bill) Roberts; one sister, Peggy Tucker; seven grandchildren, Brandi Brown, Warrant Officer Billy Roberts, Matt Roberts, Caitlin Wurster, Sherry Grose, Michael Herndon, and Erica Graham; nine great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

      Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, December 29, 2025 at the Bethel Church in Poe.  Interment will follow in the Zoar Church Cemetery.

      Friends may call from 4-6PM on Sunday, December 28, 2025 at the White-Anderson Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Summersville.
